Crimson Desert: Bounty and contribution

Updated · Patch history

The word prestige shows up in search logs. I could not find a system with that name on Game8 or the official notes I read. The nearby systems that do exist are the wanted level and contribution points, so this page explains those and does not invent a prestige rank.

Game8's bounty page: if guards catch or kill you, you sit in jail. Leaving jail clears the wanted flag and removes contribution experience. A church sells a Writ of Absolution as the other exit. They suggest leaving the area while you are only Spotted.

Contribution points come from regional faction jobs, from staying clean, from giving coins to beggars, and from helping residents. You spend them at regional shops. Exact prices are not copied here because the page does not freeze a single tariff.

FAQ

Is prestige its own system?

I did not find one. This page covers bounty and contribution instead.

How do I clear a bounty?

Jail, or a Writ of Absolution. Jail costs contribution experience.
