On 3 November 2026 Metacritic showed 77 from 115 critic reviews and a user score of 8.7 from 13,941 ratings. OpenCritic's recommend rate cited alongside Wikipedia's roundup was 74 percent. Steam showed 63,857 English reviews at Very Positive. The store's all-language recommendation total was 118,446. Those are different pools. I am not adding them.

Individual scores pulled into the same roundup do not point one way. IGN 6/10, Eurogamer 3/5, and Shacknews 5/10 sit next to Destructoid 8.5, GamesRadar 4/5, and TechRadar 4/5. The praise clusters on combat and the world. The complaints cluster on story, controls, and the inventory. I am not turning that into a single verdict.
