Crimson Desert: Move and expand the camp

Game8's camp page treats the camp as a moving base: dispatch jobs, sleep in the bed, buy and sell with the camp merchant, grow crops, keep animals, stable horses, pack trade goods, and recover lost items. Sending the camp toward Pailune is one of the high-volume questions, and the same guide is the place that describes the move.

Expansion is a separate job. At Howling Hill you pick Expanding the Camp and send freeswords. Game8 says you find them through Ross or the map. I do not have a full resource ladder for every camp tier, so I am not printing a cost table.

The DLC ocean story and the housing unlock both care that this expansion happened. See the DLC quest page and the housing page before you assume the sea is only a purchase gate.
