Crimson Desert: Wyvern

The wyvern is a flying mount, not a pet and not the chapter 11 dragon. Game8 places the wild ones over Fort Windridge in southern Delesyia. You shoot one out of the air and then subdue the bird on the ground. The official update highlights list wyverns among the mounts added in 1.10.00, which is why I am willing to call this a post-launch mount rather than a day-one one.

Once it is yours, the same guide treats it as a way onto islands and high rock. That matters more after Charting the Unknown, where island gaps are long, but the tame itself is a base-game action at the fort. I do not have a saddle recipe in the two sources, even though searches ask for a wyvern saddle, so there is no craft line on this page.

Blackstar, the story dragon, arrives much later and does not replace this hunt. If Fort Windridge is still behind a chapter gate for you, the horse minigame is the earlier seat.
