Crimson Desert: The new sea region

Updated · Patch history

The new geography is the Great Ocean of Pywel. Patch 2.04.00 and Game8's DLC map page both split it into an East Sea and a South Sea and both say there are 17 islands. The pack has to be owned before the water opens. This is separate from the five land regions already on the base map page.

Game8 describes the gaps between islands as very long and recommends a ship or the Blackstar flying mount. Each island is said to hold at least one Abyss Nexus, plus wrecks, underwater ruins, and treasure charts. I do not have a named list of the 17 islands from a page I could copy cleanly, so this guide does not pretend to be a marker map.

Interactive maps already exist at MapGenie and on other fan tools. This page is the regional explanation, not a pin board. The community page links those tools. The base map page covers Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia, the Crimson Desert, and the Abyss.
