Crimson Desert: Versus Black Desert

Black Desert Online launched in Korea in 2015 and in the West in 2016. Black Desert is an MMO on PC and consoles; Black Desert Mobile is a separate mobile title. Crimson Desert launched on 19 March 2026 as a single-player open-world action game. Wikipedia notes that it was once discussed in the orbit of Black Desert and then shipped as a separate story. They share a studio. They do not share a payment model or a party finder.

I am not scoring which one is better. If you want classes, an auction house, and other players, you are describing Black Desert. If you want Kliff, a camp, and a paid campaign, you are describing Crimson Desert.
